Collard Juice with Apple, Pear & Celery

Collard greens belong to the brassica family of vegetables which includes broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower and kale. According to the Linus Pauling Institute a 2 ounce serving of collard green juice provides 276.5 micrograms of vitamin K-your entire recommended daily allowance. While consuming plain collard green juice is bitter, adding fruit will sweeten its taste.

Why I love juicing:

Juicing is a simple way to consume an optimal amount of vegetables every day.

Juicing is a simple way to absorb the nutrients from fruits and vegetables.

Juicing “pre-digests” food making it easier on your digestive system.

Juicing is a simple way to add a variety of fruits and vegetables to your diet.
