Knowing your family history and having your DNA tested can help you learn if you are predisposed to certain medical conditions and allow you to take preventative measures. While not every medical condition is linked to your genetics, conditions like breast cancer, cystic fibrosis, and Huntington’s disease are commonly inherited.
