Green Almond Superfood Smoothie

I love green drinks and try to have at least 1-3 green drinks a day, it may be Vital Mineral Green, if I’m to  busy to make  a smoothie or juice. Either way it’s delicious and nutritious. I admit I am also a grazer…..notorious for snacking  in between meals. This drink helped me avoid that yesterday. I had this for breakfast and didn’t eat till lunch.

Ingredients:

1-1/2 C. Almond Milk

1 C. Spinach

1/2 C. Zucchini

1/4 C. Gluten free Oats

1/2 tsp. Maca

1/2 tsp. Lucuma

1/2 tsp. Mesquite

1/4 tsp. Cinnamon

1 T. Hempseed

1 Apple, quartered, seeded

 

Directions:

Place all of the ingredients in a Vitamix or other high speed blender and puree till smooth and creamy.

I did not  add any sweetener to this, if you like something a little sweeter try using any of the following : Medjool dates, Lakanto sweetener, coconut sugar or your favorite sweetener to taste.

 

 

I just love these nostalgic little milk bottles for smoothies. I appreciate that they also come with easily removable plastic lids, for when I make a blender of nut milks or smoothies.
