The Health Benefits of Wheatgrass

I love wheatgrass. It is one of my favorite superfoods. I take wheatgrass twice a day, every day in a powdered form. I prefer a powdered form because I can take it with me wherever I go and it requires no refrigeration. I either add it to my protein drink or juice. Wheatgrass juice is an effective healer because it contains chlorophyll, all minerals known to man, and vitamins A, B-complex, C, E, and K. Wheatgrass is extremely rich in protein, and contains 17 amino acids, the building blocks of protein. It contains choline, magnesium and potassium which repair and maintain liver health. It also contains indole, an enzyme that is capable of deactivating carcinogens in the liver. It cleanses the blood and digests toxins in the cells, and to be honest its list of health benefits just keeps going.
