These soft and chewy bars pack a nutritional punch and are loaded with the delicious taste of chocolate and hazelnut. No dehydrator or baking needed…..the best part, this snack is easily ready in under an hour….it can be ready in minutes if you decide to scoop into balls.
Ingredients:
1 C. Medjool date, pitted and quartered
1/4 C. Honey
1/4 C. Hazelnut butter
1/4 C. Almonds
1/4 C. Hazelnuts
1 oz. Cacao butter
2 T. Cacao powder
1 T. Jing City
1 T. Chia seeds
1/2 tsp. Maca
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Vanilla
Directions:
Add medjool dates, honey and hazelnut butter to food processor. Process till mixture is combined.
Add in remaining ingredients and process till nuts are desired size and ingredients well combined.
Line a 6″ x 9 ” pan with parchment paper. Put mixture into pan and press down firmly and evenly to fill pan. Place in freezer for 30 minutes to set.
Remove pan from freezer. Lift parchment paper out of pan and cut bars into desired size.
OR
Scoop into balls and roll in your favorite toppings such as cacao powder, hempseed, coconut or chopped nuts.
