Black Cherry Protein Smoothie

I call this a black cherry protein smoothie, because I decided to mix blackberries and cherries together. It gives this drink a glorious deep purple color. Smoothies are wonderful to enjoy year round. You can vary the ingredients by season or by what is available in the market or your garden. There are numerous tings I  love about this smoothie, you would never know there is cauliflower in it, it tastes delicious, its protein rich due to the addition of vanilla protein powder which adds an additional 20 grams of protein!

Black Cherry Smoothie

On to the recipe!


1 cup frozen cauliflower
1/2 cup frozen cherries
1/2 cup frozen blackberries
1-1/2 cups water
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
Put all ingredients in Nutribullet and blend till smooth

Your second option for this recipe is to cut the water down to 1 cup.  It will be so thick, that you can eat this with a spoon!
